brow post-care

Click each description below for more information on how to tend to your brows during healing!

  • BLOT BLOT BLOT! Brows will produce plasma throughout the remainder of the FIRST day after service. You will need to use a dry cotton round (or any disposable item) HOURLY to lightly blot and remove plasma build up. This is extremely important because it reduces the chances of scabbing during healing which yields low retention. This is something you can’t over do! If you see a lot of plasma production, you may want to blot every 20-30 minutes in the beginning.

Complete a wash and balm within four hours of your service.

Brows and surrounding skin may be reddish and tender for the remainder of the day. If your skin is extremely sensitive, I would recommend taking the rest of the day to relax at home after your service!

  • You will wash and balm your new brows morning and night for 10 days with provided products.

Be sure to do all your brow + skin washes OUTSIDE of the shower (at the sink) so you can see what you’re doing! Remember, visors should be worn during your showers during the next 10 days! Always wash your face first ; completely avoiding your brows! Then, cleanse the brows with provided wash only, swiping gently in the direction of hair growth, no circles or hard rubbing. splash with warm or cool water, and pat dry brows with DISPOSABLE paper or cotton round. Once brows are completely dry, lightly apply a thin layer of balm on both brows (one rice grain of product only!).

  • Immediately following your procedure, you may resume alcohol and caffeine consumption - yay!

 lip post-care

Click each description below for more information on how to tend to your lips during healing!

  • Most clients experience some level of swelling following their procedure. You may lightly ice lips with ice pack protected by disposable barrier (to avoid ice burn on lips) but this typically subsides in 24-48 hours.

  • Apply the provided balm as needed using a clean q-tip or finger throughout the day. Be sure to lightly clean lips morning and night with damp cotton pad and water with a patting motion and blot dry.

    During healing you may experience:

    Swelling + redness

    Tenderness

    Flaking

    Mild itchiness

    Dry skin

DO NOT pick/peel or rub your lips during the healing process as this will prematurely remove color which will cause uneven healing. Color will naturally flake off itself during healing.

  • Immediately following your procedure, you may resume alcohol and caffeine consumption - yay!
